Dom Filardo with signatory authority. A book has been established
and is available for review for all members to show status of dues,
expenses and current balance.
Balance on hand: $1376.35. Biggest expense was $185 expense for
Roundalab DVDs. The DVDs were given to our librarian.
WASCA LIAISON-John Burnett: New contracts sent out for 2010.
Collipis, Barrs and Prescotts. John passed out personal invitations
to all RDTA members to attend the Delegates’ Ball on Nov. 12, 2006.
AUTUMN LEAVES BALL-October 15, 2006. Program is already set but Dom
just found out that the Bloxoms are available, so Dom will rework
the program and send it out via email. Rose Miller has agreed to
help with refreshments. George will bring refreshments box. Tex
will sound the Phase 2-4 hall and Dom will sound the Phase 4-6 hall.
EDUCATION COORDINATOR:
WASCA RDTA clinic will be done by the Blackfords. He needs
suggestions for clinic topics. Please respond to Dom via email with
your topics and he will compile the responses and send to George.
Dom will contact Robin Goglas to be sure that she will be available
to tape the clinic.
EDUCATION CLINIC:
We missed our last clinic. We should give George some ideas for our
next clinic. Dom suggested that we share our teaching
techniques/new dances with each other. Next clinic should be
January 13, 2007.
OLD BUSINESS:
RDTA Hospitality Room at WASCA: John Kincaid has already put in a
reservation. John & Peg Kincaid will stay in one of the adjoining
rooms and Dom and Joan will stay in the other. Things we plan to do
in the hospitality area: Friday night RDTA hospitality for cuers;
meeting on Sunday morning. Rose Miller will coordinate the
refreshments for the hospitality room. John Kincaid suggested that
we provide coffee and cups (for coffee and water) and have the RDTA
members bring cookies. Tim suggested we authorize a guideline of
$100 for providing refreshments for the hospitality room.
SHOWCASE OF ROUNDS:
Tex suggested that we spend a little time after the business
meetings to showcase new dances. You need to coordinate with Dom
before the meeting if you wish to share a dance at the next business
meeting.
NEW BUSINESS:
Dom suggested that we give Dave Sanford a pass for all RDTA dances
as a thank you for his work on the RDTA website. Tex so moved,
motion was seconded and passed.
Next meeting will be at the WASCA festival on March 18, 2007.
Meeting was adjourned at 11:20 AM.
Respectfully submitted,
Margaret & Tex Shipman
