He has been a club cuer/teacher in Frankfurt, Germany (1976); Neu
Ulm, Germany (1977); Copperas Cove, Texas (1980); and Atlanta,

clubs.
Nana began square and round dancing in 1990 and quickly became an
accomplished dancer. Tim and Nana met in May 1994 at a Dallas, Texas
round dance club. The first dance they ever danced together was
"Kiss Me Goodbye Rumba" (phase 6 rumba). Tim and Nana were married
on 31 October 1996.
Tim and Nana now teach round dancing (all phases) at their Eum
Paw Paws clubs in Fredericksburg, Virginia and in Alexandria,
Virginia. They regularly are invited to cue at local square and

the Bolero rhythm. In September 2001, they traveled to New

there again in September 2003. In July 2002, they taught and cued at
the Canadian National Convention. In May 2003, they were the

playful and smile". They embody this belief whenever they teach and
cue. Tim and Nana are well known for their energetic cueing and
teaching style.
Tim works as an information technology manager for the Missile
Defense Agency of the U.S. Department of Defense. Perhaps he'll be
able to retire in 2014 when he is 62. Tim is very proud of his two
daughters: Christina, who has become a round dance teacher with her
own clubs; and Julie, who is currently serving as an Army Air
Defense Artillery (Patriot) officer in Korea. Nana, really is a
nana, and loves her daughter Cyndi and two granddaughters: Amber and
